Community Manager

at Ampler Bikes

Ampler Bikes makes light electric bikes for urban commuters. Electric bikes are a fantastic solution to the commuting problem – heavy congestion and stress, no parking spaces, and physical barriers like wind and hills that cause sweat. In our quest to solve it, we’ve already won the best Electric Bike Award, received great reviews from the likes of The Verge, The Guardian and Cycling Weekly, and we’re growing at lightning speed.

We’re now looking for a Community Manager, who would take charge of building and engaging a community of Ampler riders and ambassadors all across Europe.

What we expect you to do:

  • Manage organic social media channels and online communities on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn, planning and executing a social media publishing calendar.
  • Continuously test and measure social media post types and engagement opportunities to determine the best performing creatives.
  • Educate, engage and support Ampler’s ambassador-network by developing training content for the community, keeping them up-to-date with the latest Ampler product and service news, and being the go-to person for ambassadors.
  • Promote Ampler’s test ride programme and its ambassadors by creating case studies, ads and other supporting content together with photographers, videographers and designers, and writing copy for the assets when necessary.
  • You would be working closely with the Ambassador Programme Manager and Head of Communications in developing the direction for community management.

What we look for:

  • You are an expert communicator, able to convey your ideas in written, spoken and thought forms.
  • You’ve managed social media platforms before.
  • You can write copy for both an in-depth training material, as well put together a snappy tweet.
  • You’re comfortable using modern web tools to put together tutorials and case-studies.
  • Great listening skills – communities aren’t built by only broadcasting a message; understanding people’s wishes, concerns and opinions is critical.
  • You speak German proficiently, and you’re kind of a big deal also in English.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Your very own Ampler bike to whizz through the city.
  • Professional development as you grow with the company.
  • Prospect to have a strong impact on the success of Ampler, and to build the future of commuting.
  • Opportunity to be part of the next international success story stemming from Estonia.
  • The position is based in Berlin or Tallinn.
