Full Job Description

Location: USA
Purpose: Launch and run an online store for MissionNext

Key duties: The store manager will work closely with members of the MissionNext team to:

  • Execute e-marketing strategies
  • Implement online store business plans
  • Process orders and be responsible for the sales of the e-store
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Resolve customer problems or complaints by determining optimal solutions
  • Communicate, execute, and manage e-marketing plans in cooperation with other team members
  • Use different e-marketing channels such as social media (Facebook/Twitter) and search engine optimization
  • Manage store budget
  • Manage all store operational issues, including store housekeeping, store administrative duties, physical inventories, price changes, etc.
  • Manage the speed of service results, control inventory that is used for service orders, and be responsible for the overall organization and appearance of the service
  • Ensure all orders are properly documented and released for shipping

Time Commitment: This is a part-time, self-supporting position requiring 10-20 hours per week.

Logistics:
There is no office space for this position; the candidate will work from home using his/her own computer and high-speed internet. Day-to-day interactions will be conducted via email, telephone and video conferencing.

Worker Status:
Full-time preferred part-time minimum; support based or self-supported. Approved expenses may be reimbursed.

Staff Interaction: Maintains a Christ-like interactive relationship with other MN staff members.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Web development team to ensure integration with the MissionNext websites.
  • Work closely with Marketing and graphic design to ensure consistent integration with the MissionNext brand.

Education: College degree or equivalent experience preferred but must be skilled in the online technology needed, including the internet and SEO.

Experience and skills:

  • At least 1-year work experience
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
  • Strong experience in-store operation management and customer service
  • Demonstrated understanding of online marketing
  • Experience in retail a plus

Requirements:

  • Must be organized and self-directed
  • Have a strong customer orientation
  • Must have strong computer and SEO skills.
  • Be results-oriented with a good eye for details
  • Agree with MissionNext Statements of Faith and Spiritual Purpose
