Looking for Recent Call Center, Customer care Experience
Client is looking for:
- Call Centre experience mandatory –
- Candidates who have worked on their own laptop for previous projects will be preferred.
- Must be able to handle the pressure of the fast paced onboarding process.
- Laptop should have preferably 8 GB RAM or more and good speed of performance
- Should have good internet connectivity
- Smartphone should have good reception and be able to take calls throughout working hours
Work Requirements
- Work Timings – 7:30 AM EST to 4:30 PM EST (work timings need to be strictly followed)
- Access to high-speed internet, or broadband
- Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and minimum upload speed of 3 Mbps
- Must own a computer or a laptop, which is a Windows machine, Chromebook, or Mac with a full-size keyboard
- Client will provide access to their Systems
- Team members will use a VMWare Horizon Client to complete work, preferably 8GB RAM or more
- Headphone with Mic
- Smartphone iOS 10 or later / Android 6 or later
- RSA software token - initial setup will require app permission to access camera for QR code
Expectations
- Accepting phone calls from individuals that have filed for unemployment
- Exhibit professionalism and a positive attitude with claimants who may be under stress or frustration
- Answer questions and verifying data in online database for individuals that call about their unemployment claims
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Analysis of issues related to filing and decision making on next steps for individual
- Basic proficiency with computers and smart phones
- You will be navigating web-based applications, mainframes, and other user interfaces
- Communicate with your squad leader

NOTE:
IBM and State training sessions are extremely fast paced and need candidates to be patient through this phase..
- NEED to HAVE a LAPTOP & SMARTPHONE AND READY to use for the project.
- Resources must follow a Mon-Fri schedule from 7:30 AM EST to 4:30 PM EST
Job Description
- Fielding incoming unemployment calls for new applications and inquiries, collecting their information in a state application via a NYS VMWare app and sending it along for processing
- State will provide 6 hours training (Includes 1.5 hours video conference training)
- Day 1 : IBM - New York State Dept of Labor Orientation and Confidentiality Training (2.5 hour’s over WebEx)
- Day 2: The State training (6 hour’s over WebEx)
- To access the State systems, an RSA Token App must be downloaded from the either Google App Store or Apple App Store. For this reason, the resources must have a smart phone to download and install the App.
Skills required :
- PCR extension Call Center experience
- Good communication
- Basic Computer skills
