Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, detail oriented Cloud Services Engineer who has demonstrated ability to work in a fast-pace and complex technical environment and thrives on delivering cost effective and scalable services. As a Cloud Services Engineer you will develop an iPaaS solution that extends Enterprise Apache Kafka to mobile/IoT at scale.You will work closely with the rest of the Kaazing Services team, QA, Engineering, Solutions Architects, Sales, and Product Management to ensure that Kaazing is delivering overall superior service and support to our customers.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Develop, monitor, support and maintain a 24x7 enterprise class iPaaS/SaaS service
- Work with engineering and quality assurance teams to arrive at fixes
- Document issues accurately and completely, their solutions, and defects
- Commitment to meet SLAs set by the company
- Supporting Kaazing Sales Engineers in the field with pre-sales POCs
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in developing SaaS solutions
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with cloud computing and services: AWS, GCP and Azure
- Experience with several of the following: Web services, web development, app/web servers, networking, TCP/IP, SOAP
- Experience with tool building
- In-depth knowledge of computer networking and protocols
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong technical, written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoy working with people and possess a customer driven attitude
