The successful candidate will create and manage the perception of the organisationas a leading brand with expertise and excellent service on all digital media and communication platforms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/KEY JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
oGenerate content that promotes the organisation as a leading brand
oGenerate content to highlight the achievements of the organisation
oManage the organisation website for usability and effectiveness, ensuring timely, accurate and up-to-date content. Upload and publish content by the various organisations
oMonitor website to determine usage patterns and traffic to provide required data to improve effectiveness and ensure communication goals are met
oMonitor all digital presence and ensure information accuracy across all platforms
oMonitor and analyse digital trends and new media for adoption
oPublish and share contents provided for driving engagement on social media
oMonitor social media and other platforms and give suggestions for appropriate response to threats and opportunities
oDrive a culture of social media excellence
oCarry out periodic digital audits to ascertain brand adherence and monitor footprints
oReview andupdate website content periodically for effective search engine optimisation (SEO)
oAct as liaison between the organisation and the media agencies
oConversion of all communication activities to actual revenue for the organisation
SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS
oIn-depth knowledge and experience in digital and social media managementoExcellent written and verbal communication skills
oStrong presentation skills
oAbility to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
oCreative thinker able to set strategy to action and show results
oKnowledge of PR, brand management and communication
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors’ degree in any discipline (preferably Mass Communication or English).
